Picture depicts work in progress:
1) edges of the cover has been hand polished and burnished to ensure maximum durability.
2) hand sewn saddle stitch
3) next up, elastic spine bands and standard elastic closure
For those curious, this leather cover is constructed using Waxed Cowhide and in Deluxe Style. My Deluxe Style cover features standard elastic closure, stitching with interior pockets and options to add simple pen loop + leather bookmark + interior card pockets + interior vertical card pockets + secretarial pocket.
