IMPORTANT SHIPPING NOTICE FOR MADE TO ORDER LEATHER GOODS

IMPORTANT NOTICE: BESPOKE LEATHER GOODS SHIPMENT VIA UPS ONLY

It’s always my hope that your hand sewn leather products are dispatched within the published time frame provided by the postal service and express courier such UPS or FedEx at reasonable cost. My shipping method for all made to order, hand sewn leather goods is via International ePacket (standard shipping method) with UPS being an express shipping option - 3-5 days on time delivery.

Normally, the standard shipping method should take approximately 10-14 days to arrive provided there are no unusual transit delays due to weather conditions, Custom clearance (it may take longer for certain postal service/Custom hub that employs more extensive customs procedures) or holiday season. Although this time frame is just an approximation, extensive delays are becoming a norm; reaching over 30 days. The postal service and Customs clearance procedures are becoming very inconsistent as of late.

I have reached a juncture where I do see the need to reduce (ideally, to eliminate) the frequent extensive delays and lost of packages I have experienced since October. Many clients have voiced their displeasure with consistent delays in receiving their shipment. In addition, there’s always a possibility that your packages may get misplaced or lost by the postal service during the extensive delays.

Significant amount of time and effort are required to create every bespoke leather product. Naturally, the waiting period also requires a lot of patience and it is often not easy and can be excruciating for some clients. The entire creative process between the maker and client is significant; and we both play a part in creating something unique, which you will use for many years to come.

Unfortunately, the additional time I spent locating and liaising with the postal service once a given package has passed its delivery time beyond my control has become quite significant and extremely time consuming. Accordingly, I feel I can’t continue to employ the standard shipping method to ship all my outgoing bespoke leather goods. Naturally, there will be an increase in shipping fees but the risk and inconvenience caused are too consequential to ignore.

Accordingly, for our peace of mind, the default shipping method for all bespoke leather goods will be UPS (3-5 days on time delivery) at the moment until further notice. For your reference, the new shipping schedule:

United States
500g - $17
1kg - $25
1.5KG - $33

EU countries
500g - $21
1kg - $27

Shipping to other region available upon request.
